Location. Embedded in the side of a steep coastal cliff, Ohtel is a contemporary Wellington, New Zealand hotel adjacent to Waitangi Park and 200 meters from Te Papa Museum and Oriental Bay Beach. Ohtel, an urban boutique hotel, is a concrete structure housing a collection of furnishings and dcor from the 1950s and 1960s. Collected by the owner specifically for the hotel, items include uniquely shaped but functional clocks and colorful ceramics, cabinetry, lamps, chairs and tables. The caf serves contemporary cuisine during breakfast, lunch and dinner hours. Menu offerings include light meals, full meals, an array of desserts and an extensive wine list.
