Location. The venue for John and Yoko's 1969 'Bed in for peace', this V shaped canal front hotel mirrors the symmetrical Berlage architecture of its exclusive Amsterdam district, one kilometre from Vondelpark. Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is a 25 minute drive, 15 kilometres away. Hotel Features. In winter months guests can sink into leather armchairs and warm up in front of the fire of the hotel bar overlooking the marina. During warmer times the garden offers a canopied sun terrace and lawn, where guests and locals enjoy drinks and barbecues with views over the canal. As well as an onsite hair salon, a boutique provides a range of designer clothing, and there is also a gift shop. The adjoining health club is open to guests (surcharge) and includes a gym, sauna and Turkish steam room. There is secure parking on site (surcharge). The Hilton Amsterdam's restaurant, Roberto's, serves Italian dishes, fish and seafood specialities and Sunday brunches. Coffees, pastries and sandwiches are available in the Issimo caf.
